Total uplift in site traffic
Revenue increase from on partners
The brand initially approached Silverbean in search of an agency partner to manage their affiliate program. Before moving into a full partnership, both sides agreed to begin with a standalone project, designed to address a specific performance challenge the brand was facing:
“How can we incrementally supercharge performance from editorial and social/influencer partners?”
The key KPIs for the 12-week project were clear:
To meet this brief, Silverbean developed a business case proposal outlining a series of targeted solutions. From this, one high-impact recommendation was selected: a strategic project centered on the targeted optimisation and activation of 10 strategic content partners.
The challenge lay in identifying the right publishers to drive quality traffic at scale and activating them quickly, overcoming the traditionally slow lead times associated with onboarding editorial and influencer partners, and ensuring clear performance expectations and accountability from the outset.
Following the event, 10 partners were identified with the potential to deliver high volumes of qualified traffic quickly. Some of these partners were already part of the brand’s affiliate program, while three new partners, Endource, The Handbook and Collagerie, were successfully onboarded.
The decision on which publishers would be managed by Silverbean was made collaboratively with the brand, combining the team’s agency knowledge and existing relationships with the brand’s objectives. This ensured that partners were selected based on their ability to attract both new and lapsed customers and had proven ability to drive site traffic.
As part of the onboarding process, partners were asked to provide proposals detailing the type of exposure they could offer, including solus newsletters, article placements and social posts. These proposals were developed with the agreed traffic figures in mind, ensuring that each partner’s plan aligned with their role in achieving the 5% traffic increase target. Clear traffic expectations and KPIs were established from the outset, creating a shared understanding of objectives and helping to prioritise the most impactful opportunities within the overall partnership.
To kick off the project, Silverbean devised and hosted a bespoke in-person content publishers event, inviting some of the UKs leading content partners who aligned closely with the brand’s goals and vision. Held at a central London White Company store, the strategy for the event was rooted in face-to-face connection: creating an immersive brand experience that would allow high-value partners to meet the brand team, understand the brand story, and get excited about the product offering.
The agenda included:
The event was well-received, with attendees reporting that they felt values, understood the brand’s priorities more clearly and were motivated to actively participate in optimising campaigns. The event also laid the foundation for stronger, more strategic partnerships over the course of the project.
One key benefit of the in-person event was the ability to cut through typical onboarding delays. Face-to-face conversation enable:
This approach ensured that partnerships were not only carefully selected but also quickly operationalised, maximising early movement for the 12-week project.
Once partners were onboarded, Silverbean implemented a rigorous program of ongoing monitoring and optimisation. Weekly check-ins enabled the team to track performance, troubleshoot issues and make tactical adjustments in real time to maximise impact.
The team maintained close contact with both the brand and partners, ensuring activation plans were fully executed and creative assets were deployed in a timely manner. Continuous optimisation of existing partners helped maintain momentum, keeping traffic and engagement levels on track throughout the 12-week project.
Alongside content partners, Silverbean leverages its in-depth knowledge of influencer networks to help the brand maximise performance across multiple channels. Each network was approached strategically, recognising that different platforms serve district purpose, whether driving immediate traffic, reaching new audiences or re-engaging lapsed customers.
One network in particular had been underperforming due to pre-existing contractual limitations. By resolving these constraints, Silverbean was able to “switch on” a new stream of traffic that had previously been missed, demonstrating the value of proactive agency management.
Through this hands-on approach, the brand gained a clearer understanding of how to harness influencer networks effectively, while simultaneously generating incremental traffic and engagement from previously overlooked opportunities.
Between May 28th and July 31st, the project significantly outperformed its original goal of a 5% traffic uplift, achieving an 11% increase in overall clicks year-on-year.

This performance not only surpassed short-term traffic targets but also strengthened the long-term affiliate strategy by identifying which partners and activations drive the greatest impact for the brand. Following the success of this project, the brand has now become a full-time Silverbean client.
Careful partner selection and clear traffic expectations from the outset ensured that every collaboration was strategically aligned with the brand’s goals.
Hosting an in-person event in store provided an opportunity to cut through traditional onboarding delays, creating immediate buy-in and accelerating activations.
Asking partners to submit proposals with traffic targets in mind allowed Silverbean to prioritise the most impactful opportunities and hold partners accountable to performance.
Proactive management of influencer networks and content publishers delivered strong uplifts in both traffic and revenue, unlocking new growth opportunities.
Transparent collaboration between Silverbean and the brand resulted in a 11% YoY traffic uplift, more than double the original 5% target.
The strength of the results not only exceeded short-term objectives but also built the foundation for a lasting partnership, with the brand now a full-time Silverbean client.
