Health and Supplement Brand

108 Influencers, 30 Days, One Seamless Migration: Future-Proofing a Health and Supplement Brand’s Creator Strategy

For those with only 30 seconds, this is what we achieved:

  • Seamlessly migrated 108 influencers from a limited creator platform to a full affiliate network in just 30 days.
  • Grew the programme to 158 active influencers – a 50% increase in total recruitment immediately after migration.
  • Introduced scalable tracking, tiered commissioning, and structured incentives previously impossible on the old platform.
  • Reduced and improved visibility on code leakage, which had inflated performance data on the previous system.

What was the challenge?

A Programme Unable to Scale Beyond Its Existing Tools

The brand’s influencer programme had been built on a creator platform that, while helpful for early-stage setups, lacked the functionality needed to scale. As the programme grew, the limitations became more restrictive. The platform did not support tiered commissioning, structured incentives, or performance-based reward models, features essential for motivating creators and driving consistent posting. Influencers had no meaningful pathway to grow with the brand, and the team had no mechanism to differentiate top performers from casual participants.

Lack of Visibility and Code Leakage Issues

Another major challenge was the accuracy of the data the brand relied on. The previous platform suffered from significant code leakage, a widespread issue within the creator industry, where discount codes are shared beyond the intended influencer audience. This leakage artificially inflated revenue and performance metrics, making it difficult to understand the true effectiveness of creator activity. The migration aimed not only to reduce leakage but to give the brand far better visibility into where leakage was happening, enabling them to make informed decisions moving forward.

Barriers to Partner Expansion and Network Access

The programme was also constrained in which partners it could work with. Influencer networks and creator commerce platforms such as LTK and Metapic could not be integrated with the existing system. This significantly limited recruitment potential and restricted the brand from participating in wider creator ecosystems that their competitors were already leveraging. Migrating to an affiliate network was essential to unlock access to these creators and tools.

A Migration Too Large for a Brand to Manage Alone

Finally, the scale of the migration posed a practical challenge. Moving more than 100 influencers from one platform to another is fundamentally different from migrating affiliate publishers. Influencers require hands-on communication, individual support, technical assistance, and reassurance throughout the process. They often have little to no familiarity with affiliate networks or tracking links, meaning every creator required bespoke onboarding. Managing a migration of this size internally would have been beyond the brand’s operational capacity, both in resources and expertise.

What was our solution?

A Bespoke, Tiered Migration Framework Designed for Influencers

Silverbean developed a structured migration process built specifically for creators. Using existing data from the original platform, all influencers were categorised into performance tiers. This allowed the team to prioritise high-value creators (Tier 1) and ensure they were moved first, while lower-priority tiers were migrated in structured phases.

Clear Communication and Creator Education

Influencers were guided through the transition with one-to-one onboarding support. Many had never interacted with an affiliate network before, so the team broke down each step in accessible language: how to accept a programme, how tracking works, where to find links, and how to update content. This personalised approach gave creators confidence in the process and ensured each one understood the benefits of the new setup.

Incentives to Drive Early Adoption

To accelerate the migration and avoid delays, influencers were offered a migration “thank-you” gift if they moved by a specific date. This gentle incentive helped drive strong early adoption and gave creators a positive association with the transition.

Rebuilding the Programme With Scalable Infrastructure

The migration unlocked features previously unavailable to the brand:

  • Tiered commission structures
  • Performance-based rewards
  • Creator incentives and bonus schemes
  • Direct partnerships with influencer networks
  • More accurate data and leakage visibility
  • A model that treats influencers like performance partners, not purely brand ambassadors

This shift fundamentally changed how the brand could operate the programme going forward.

Executing the Migration at Speed

The migration took place in just 30 days, starting at the beginning of August. This level of speed required rigorous project management, prioritised outreach, and a multi-phase approach tailored to the unique needs of influencers at each tier. The brand’s top creators were moved first, while Tier 3 creators were migrated more gradually, ensuring resources were focused where they matter most.

Expanding Beyond Migration to New Recruitment

Once the migration was complete, the improved infrastructure made the programme significantly more attractive to new creators. With better tracking, performance incentives and access to major influencer networks, recruitment accelerated naturally, helping to grow the programme shortly after the transition.

What results were achieved?

  • 108 influencers migrated from the previous platform to the affiliate network within 30 days.
  • Total influencer community grew from 108 to 158 creators – a 50% recruitment increase post-migration.
  • Significant reduction and improved visibility on code leakage, allowing the brand to make decisions based on accurate data.
  • Influencers gained access to performance tools and incentive models previously unavailable on the old platform.
  • The migration unlocked partnerships with major creator networks, enabling the programme to expand far beyond its former capability.
  • The brand gained a scalable, performance-ready influencer infrastructure that can support long-term growth and more sophisticated campaigns.

Key Takeaways

Expertise Matters
Creator migrations require deep expertise, structured workflows, and hands-on relationship management, far more than traditional affiliate migrations.

Built for Scale
Moving influencers onto an affiliate network creates a scalable, future-proofed model that supports incentives, tiering and partner network integration.

Accurate Data Drives Better Decision
Improved tracking and reduced code leakage deliver more accurate performance data, even if that means revealing inflated metrics from old systems.

Large Scale Migrations Need Specialised Support
With the right support, brands can successfully migrate large creator communities at speed, something few in-house teams have capacity for.

Transforming Long-Term Potential
A migration of this scale unlocks long-term growth that simply isn’t possible on limited creator platforms.
