Green Chef | How we built over 200 links through expert-led reactive PR

Our client, Green Chef, is the UK’s number one keto recipe box provider and boasts a number of experts in the field of food and nutrition who actually have the qualifications and authority to comment.

How did we identify the opportunity?

Food trends and diet fads are incredibly popular online. Whether it’s forums, online news, Instagram or more recently, TikTok – it’s clear that millions head online to digest content about what’s hot in the world of food right now.

With so many brands throwing their opinions into the ring, it can be tricky to cut through the noise and give consumers accurate information that complies with Google’s E-E-A-T guidelines.

What did we do?

Through reactive digital PR, we have been able to provide expert guidance on the food trends everyone is talking about, using headlines such as “Registered Nutritionist praises Atlantic Diet for its flexible approach to healthy eating” and “Expert nutritionist shares how to keep your vitamin D levels up in winter”.

We paired with in house nutritionists at Green Chef to comment on recent trends since the start of the year which included vegan proteins, increasing vitamin D in your diet, mushroom as a meat alternative and the Atlantic Diet.

What outcomes were achieved?

Since the start of the year, our team has built 219 links back to the Green Chef domain in highly relevant titles including Stylist, MSN, Crave Mag, Huffington Post and Yahoo.

We’re now working on creating dedicated landing pages for the nutritionists so that journalists, and readers, can find out more about their expertise.
