The brand has established a loyal customer base and continues to build its reputation for producing cutting-edge, practical tech solutions.
The team were tasked with a significant challenge when they heard news of a new product launch in early September 2024. While the product had the potential to revolutionise the market, there was one limitation when it came to the affiliate marketing strategy: exposure could only be booked with content publishers. This decision was driven by the brand’s strategic goals, which prioritised high-quality, content-driven partners that could provide in-depth, editorial coverage. The brand’s reputation was also at the forefront of the decision. While working with lower-funnel publishers has its benefits, they did not align with the brand’s premium image.
By focusing solely on content publishers, the brand aimed to enhance the credibility of the product through trusted, informative content that resonated more deeply with potential customers. The goal was to reach an audience that valued in-depth, well-researched content, rather than relying on a wide range of affiliate partners who might not have the same level of editorial control or audience trust.
This limitation created several key hurdles:
The team implemented a structured, phased approach to the new product launch while carefully navigating the restrictions in place.
With the client’s requirements and constraints in mind, the first step was to select the right content publishers to book exposure with. The team meticulously reviewed potential partners based on their audience alignment, engagement potential, and ability to drive high-quality traffic. This included a mix of partners they had already established relationships with, as well as new publishers that were strategically onboarded for the launch.
A key part of this phase was also a Gantt chart, produced by the team to be used as a working document. This provided transparency for both Silverbean and the client, ensuring clarity on which publishers were being approached and when, preventing any overlap with the brands PR team, keeping messaging consistent and ensuring that efforts were fully aligned. A carefully curated list was selected for optimisation, with each one chosen based on their potential to maximise impact during the launch.

Given the focus on content publishers, the next step was managing the relationships with those partners effectively. This meant negotiating tenancy deals and offering tailored incentives to maximise the product’s visibility. The team made sure to create a strategic balance between paid tenancy and organic content, enabling the new product to reach a larger, highly engaged audience.
The team also ensured that any exclusivity agreements and NDAs were adhered to, with careful consideration of which publishers were being approached to avoid stepping on the toes of the client’s PR teams. This coordination allowed for smooth collaboration and a unified message across all channels.
Once the product was launched, the team closely monitored performance metrics to ensure the campaign was delivering on its objectives. This phase focused on continuous optimisation to sustain momentum and maximise ROI.
The launch of the new product was a major success, exceeding expectations in terms of both revenue and cost efficiency.

These results demonstrated that a well-executed content publisher strategy, alongside careful partner management, resulted in strong performance for the new product launch. The programme delivered high revenue with a strong ROI and low customer acquisition costs, laying the groundwork for continued success in future campaigns.
